1. What this service is

A50 Check is an automated informational tool. It scans publicly accessible web pages and compares them against general transparency practices associated with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the “EU AI Act”). The output is a summary of automated checks. It is not legal advice, not a compliance certification, and creates no attorney-client relationship.

2. No guarantee

Automated detection of AI systems on websites is inherently incomplete. Reports may contain errors or omissions. We make no representation that any website is or is not compliant with any law, and we disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Your use

You may only scan URLs you have the right to scan. Do not use the service to probe sites you do not control without lawful basis. Abuse, rate-limit circumvention, or automated bulk scanning may result in termination without refund.

4. Payments

Paid reports are one-time purchases delivered by email; monitoring subscriptions renew monthly and may be cancelled at any time from your receipt link. Refunds are available within 14 days if the service fails to deliver a report for your submitted URL.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding your claim. We are not liable for regulatory fines, penalties, or consequential damages arising from reliance on automated output.
